From the Queen Vic to rock chick! EastEnders' Jessie Wallace showcases her trim figure in skinny jeans and a punky tee 

She's best known for playing the feisty, leopard-print loving Kat Moon in EastEnders. 

But Jessie Wallace went from Queen Vic to rock chic as she stepped out in London's West End on Friday afternoon. 

The 42-year-old actress looked every inch the punk rock princess as she showcased her slim figure in a pair of skintight skinny jeans, while layering up in a dark ensemble.

The EastEnders favourite looked great in a black graphic tee, which she wore underneath an immaculately tailored black blazer.

Accessorising with a black fringe bag and a chain belt, the soap star added a touch of A-list glamour to her look with the addition of a pair of oversized sunglasses. 

Jessie added some height to her frame with a pair of black wedged ankle boots, while her dark locks were swept into a loose up-do.

Her pal also wore a dark outfit as she teamed a padded jacket with jeans and brown ankle boots.

Jessie is often seen out and about after working up a sweat in the gym, usually in the company of her singer-songwriter boyfriend, Tim Arnold.

Jessie started dating musician Tim, 37, back in May 2012, after meeting through Tim's godmother June Brown and mother Polly Perkins, who play Dot Cotton and her sister Rose in EastEnders, at the Soap Awards the previous month.

The composer is largely credited with restoring Jessie's faith in marriage after she called time on her relationship with former fiancee Vincent Morse on their wedding day after he allegedly sent his ex-girlfriend an explicit picture of the soap actress.

And Tim is even said to have changed Jessie's mind about tying the knot again herself, after she vowed never to wed following her devastation over Vince.

Jessie has an eight-year-old daughter Tallulah with her policeman ex, Dave Morgan.

Kim Kardashian may be on the cover of this month’s Vogue, but she was originally slated to star on the February cover of Harper’s Bazaar instead, it has been revealed.

According to WWD, Bazaar’s editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey had planned to feature Ms Kardashian in a close-up ‘beauty’ shot on the cover because the then-pregnant reality star appeared ‘overweight’.

Ms Kardashian was apparently unhappy with this treatment, as well as Bazaar’s idea to have the controversial photographer Terry Richardson produce the shoot.

Vanity Fair’s Graydon Carter was also reportedly interested in featuring Ms Kardashian, and held a one-hour meeting with senior staffers to debate the merits of putting her on the magazine’s cover, according to the paper.

These discussions ended when rumors of Ms Kardashian’s Vogue shoot began to enter the public conversation in early 2014.

During Ms Kardashian’s appearance on Late Night with Seth Myers earlier this week she told the host of her Vogue cover: ‘I didn't know it would be the cover. I knew I was doing it. It was such a secret that I didn't tell my sisters. It was this top secret mission.
